Cheryl, it is really better to measure intended wheel as you need that snugg fit also on a truck cover you may want to add 1/2 inch to the width to acomadate a bulkier wheel you that model has one. The finish width of cover is approx. 4"

Cheryl normally elastic is cut half the length. I find that for a 46" wheel 26" cut and joined is just right. 2" shorter would nit give you the stretch need to bring outsides toward the middle Hope this helps
