I think the bias edges would not be a problem if you starched the squares heavily before sewing and cutting.

Thank you for the size chart. I made a couple this way just to try it out. It works great, but need the sizes in order make the size I needed. Of course, I did discover that the finished pinwheel can be trimmed to size.

Thanks for the list of sizes I was planning to use this method on an upcoming project, but was unsure of the math and probably would have just used the trial and error method until I got the size I was looking for.

How big were your sqs to begin with?. What size is your finished block

The unfinished blocks were cut 6.5" and the finished size of all blocks was 6".
