I was going to paper piece a hunters star. Cut fabric ready and realised I needed no paper. These pictures show what I found. You may need to do a little juggling yourself to find triangle size and widths.

First time doing this so be gentle been a while since I was here.

Would you be willing to give us the sizes of your pieces?

I believe there is a mistake in the third picture regarding the pencil line drawn on the white strip on the left. It should go the other way right?

Sizes and a little tutorial of what you have done. Yours is beautiful. I have steered away from this block for quite a while, maybe you can help steer me back.

This pattern was designed by Patty Paddock (c) 1993. I believe it is still available at "The Fabric Cupboard" in Moncton, NB, Canada. Here is a link to their blog - http://thefabriccupboard.blogspot.ca...&by-date=false (scroll down to September 10, 2013). She still teaches this class once or twice a year. It really is a very easy technique!

I don't understand how you did it, but it is beautiful. Thanks for the link too.

May I just add to http://www.quiltingboard.com/members/roxanneleblanc-u39693.html this came from my own head. I don't know or have seen her work.
I was using the paper pieced method when I realised the paper was not necessary.
For sizes is you look at my carefully placed pieces .

Is ther a place to get a tutorial or even a pattern with directions since I cannot attend the class in Nova Scotia?;)

Very intersting technique! How great that you figured out another way to do the block! Thanks so much for sharing this.
