The fast star is a uniquely Native American design, I think it was adapted form the Flying Swallows, since all the pieces are the same in a different arrangement. My sister-in-law has a quilt on her bed that I just CANNOT find a pattern for. So I'm tracing the pieces and writing tips down as I trace. I'm sooooo hoping THIS is the pattern I've been looking for. I've got all the material I need, just need to have directions, as I'm not mechanically inclined to figure it out myself. I'm following your tute. Looking forward to your grand finale, but not very patient. Thanks for sharing. :) :)

Apparently I have moved from South Carolina to the state of confusion. I'm not getting it and I feel like I should since it seems the rest of you do. Im gonna chaulk it up to "newbi-ness" and continue to watch.
