Sorry about that Dollyo, this is what happens when you have done the same pattern several times. You forget that not everyone else has....you make as many of the 4 circle sections as you want. The sections are then joined by reversing the direction that the last 2 side petals are sewn. I stitch these ones together facing the back and then simply stitch close to the edge with matching thread so they lay flat. Pictures to follow.

For summer, white petals - big yellow button or many smaller yellow buttons or applique center for daisies. Gold petals, brown center for black-eyed Susans. The possibilities are endless. Just added another project onto my already lengthy todo list.
