I will try to load these in order but it will take a bit because I am computer challenged. This is how I do the Poinsettia table runner and the Water Lily table topper.

Wonderful tute!!! Love the looks of this "block". Thanks for posting. This is going near the top of my long to-do list. Really love it!

Beautiful runner, fantastic tute . Love the idea of the runner for Christmas but a bright yellow for the summer would be so bright.

Sorry about that Dollyo, this is what happens when you have done the same pattern several times. You forget that not everyone else has....you make as many of the 4 circle sections as you want. The sections are then joined by reversing the direction that the last 2 side petals are sewn. I stitch these ones together facing the back and then simply stitch close to the edge with matching thread so they lay flat. Pictures to follow.

Just recd templates from MSQC for this....did not say what to do with that football one...now I know....thanks for your excellent tutorial
This is such a good idea - I love your tutorial - now to get my Christmas fabric out - the bonus is I can use my Layer Cakes for this. Thanks for the great tute. Question - What size are the petals - I did not see any size indication. Thanks. Otis
Tartan, you are a genius! I love this and it will be put to use within the next few days as I have begun my Christmas projects. Thank you for all your work and for sharing.
I think I just answered my own question - I looked at the pic again and looks like the petals are 6" from tip to tip.
The reason I didn't specify a size for the petal, was in case you did a different size circle. Do you see the stitching line on the side of the circle? That is one half of the petal shape from the line to the circle edge. Take a piece of paper and trace that shape ( whatever size circle you decide to do) fold the paper in half and cut the whole petal. Transfer this to a piece of template plastic or cardboard and make sure to add your seam allowance after tracing the shape.
