They do love gluing things, it depends on the kid to what iron, I like the big on as it sits on the fabric, just remember to turn off the steam, even if they have help with the ironing, they can so the actual sewing all by themselves. and that way their corners etc will come out pretty good, especially for a beginner. it was prefect to keep it all in place and they just zigzagged around it. we did the whole quilt at once so once they sat down, it didn't take long to go around the whole thing. and yes, no pins to pick out, run over and or possibly pick themselves with.

Why do you iron after using the glue?

It sets the glue so that you don't have to sit there and wait for it to dry.

After helping the kids with it, it is very easy and simple to do, I don't know that unless I was maybe doing a scalloped edge and it wasn't going well, I don't know that I would use it for me, but it definitely helped with the kids stuff.

I think I will try in on my bindings and especially at the miter corners.
I think it would be helpful when doing the fun & done quilts too.

I bet it would help with keeping those folds in place while you sew the fun and dones :D
