Thanks, that is how I was planning to do it. I thought it should be more complicated. :mrgreen: Just have to remember to leave at least 1/2 inch ( in my case) unquilted.

also i for got to add on is do rolls by rolls like eight in a roll then eight more or what ever and then join them the same way

I always wondered about this method, sometimes I will read a western love book and their always taking their piecing with them where ever they go as well as quilting. I knew they were not carrying a quilt top in their basket.:)
