I just happened into this post and saw my name. Glad to be of help on your labels. They put mine to shame. Wow! They are gorgeous. Isn't it fun taking an idea from another person, and going a bit further? That is so neat.

Those are gorgeous labels! And good idea to mention what it's made of.

I have a friend w/an embroidery machine. She does all my labels now. Right on the backing of the quilt, before it's quilted. Makes it very easy and don't worry about fading etc. I'm terribly lazy.

Fabulous. I have to give this method a try.

I have made a lot of labels with the June tailor colorfast made for inkjet printers, but after multiple washing they do fade. I have looked for the bubblejet but haven't been able to find it. Can you tell us where to find it? Thanks.

Bubblejet is made in the USA, and they have a website, where you can get further information, just click on the following :

test your laser printer to see whether it will feed fabric on freezer paper.
if it does print a test photo and then wash it.

my color laser prints washable not-too-shabby prints on fabric.
no need for bubble jet set.

i can't say for sure whether or not every toner on the market will do the same.
but the "for-reals" brother toner for my printer does work.
