Judith. I'd make 14-15" squares to accommodate seam allowances in your 12" finished block pieces. Share your book with us...

Thank you, I will. I just need to run out and purchase a new plastic flannel backed table cloth. I will definitely add a bit to what I thought for a little extra wiggle room. I will also post a photo when it's done.
LOL I just made a landmark post earlier...whoa 9001 posts...have I spent too much time here:D |
Fantastic idea it not only keeps them together but stops creasing.

I made one of these yesterday following your directions. I love it and cant wait to show it at my quilt get together. It is perfect for the 365 challenge blocks. Thank You again.

I made one of these books following your tutorial. I took it to quilting and everyone loved the idea. You have a winner. Thank You.
PS It was fun to make. I used a tablecloth with snowmen and fussy cut them out. |
You're welcome zennia...oh you put more thought into making yours than my off the cuff plan...Last night I was sewing 365 day blocks with lots of triangles..I loved how I could turn a page, and those small pieces stayed in place....
