That depens of the fabric and the batting I use - in general I do 12-14 per inch (counted on the top). Sometimes I can do one or two more.

 Oh, my word. I am in awe. And they are all so perfect!

Your work is BEAUTIFUL !!!

I am a hand quilted also & no thimble.
I am going to try the one stitch instead of the rocking,I can do it fairly well, but stitches are not always uniform.
I have some tops I did & will quilt them when our weather gets cooler.

Thank you so much for the detailed photos of your stitches !! :-D

Beautiful workmanship! Inspires me to keep trying, mine are "slightly" mismatched.

Lovely work!

I am new to quilting, and would like to learn your style.

My sewing background in zero. There are no classes offered near my home.

I hope that you don't mind a novice asking some dumb questions. :)

Mainly, what is a single stitch? How do you do it?

I've looked online and could find no information.

Loading one stitch on the needle at a time- poke needle down through the layers and right back up through the layers in one stitch, then draw the thread through after it- instead of loading several stitches on the needle before drawing the thread through. Most quilters load at least a couple of stitches on a needle at a time because they feel the work goes faster that way- which makes borntohandquilts exquisite, time-consuming work all the more amazing! :)
