Thank you so very much for posting these pics!!! I'm hand quilting a queen size and using the stab stitch. It is slow but I just find it too difficult to load more than one stitch on the needle. I am definitely going to try your method. The pictures really make it clear what you are doing. You are such an inspiration!

oh how I wish on a million stars I could do what you do. I bought a wholecloth quilt top and it is already marked. Maybe a could to start with that. Someday.

This is the way I quilt also. Only I use #9 needles and about 4 or 5 stitches at a time. My hubby made me a frame out of pvc pipe and I use plastic clamps to hold the quilt in place. It is made to fit me in my computer chair. That way its just right . The height is made for me. I'll send a picture with this.
