Awesome idea thanks for making it so easy to follow you directions.

Are you leaving the label loose and not stitching it to the back of the quilt. This seems like it would be bothersome to have to always be smoothing it under the table runner.

It is attached in the binding, and because the label is long and narrow, it stays in position with no trouble. I think if your label is larger to include more information, you might want to add a bit of velcro or something to keep the edge of the flap down, but I would wait to see if it becomes a problem first.

If you make it too big, it will defeat the purpose of being out of the way so both sides can be used as in a table runner or topper. I think if I needed a little more room to add info, I would make it longer rather than wider.

Awesome! Love that the label is there, but the writing is invisible unless you want to see it.

I will have to try this on the table runner I am making now.

I am not too fond of labels and have just started embroidering my name and the year. Not as much info as some would like but it works for me and hardly shows.

Oooh! Nice idea! I have some quilt labels I have yet to sew on...this is a perfect treatment.
