Thanks for posting this tute... Nicely explained and I think it would be a very accurate way to do those triangles...

I bought one of these rulers and think I will love it, just have a bot of learning to do before i am totally comfortable with it

Gosh, I am just not "getting it". Why do you have to buy this ruler? Can't one just use a regular triangle ruler and cut a triangle a tad bigger than needed and then trim it? I have an Easy Angle ruler and don't see why I can't just use that. Am I missing something?
