I have been looking for a Tutorial for a pillow cover for two tapestries a friend sent me, I want them to be removable. A two piece back... need to find out how much to overlap.. Any help out there????

I have some tapestry cushions (I didn't make them)...they have velvet backs with zippers. I find the zips quite good keeps the cushions inside better than an envelope back. Sorry I can't be of more help...but someone will be able to advise you.

I would say 3 to 4 inches.

I have posted a link to Pillow Patches and other possibilities on Amazon. You can find it other places though. I have made some of these and really like them. Instead of using zippers, you use buttons and I think it just adds a nice touch. Hope this helps and good luck.

I usually use use 1/3 the length of the pillow for the overlap. Have no problem keeping them closed.

Try this video, it is an envelope pillow cover and I feel it is the best video on this subject I've seen.
