Putting a Square On Point
1 Attachment(s)
I've made a couple of quilts where I decided after I had the squares made that the squares needed to be on point to add interest to the quilt. This is a quick tutorial on how to put a square on point that I've used. The final pictures of the quilt I used for this tutorial can be found at http://www.quiltingboard.com/picture...s-t139870.html
Good luck and let me know if I can improve the tutorial! This is my first! |
thank you for taking the time to make this great tutorial

This is very similar to the Card Trick on Point tutorial I posted here several months ago. http://www.quiltingboard.com/tutoria...n-t137717.html
I also taught it at a workshop in Martinsburg WV; I wonder if you learned yours from someone in that area? Makes it so much easier doesn't it?!! Jan in VA |

I forgot to mention that I used this method on an Ohio Star quilt I just finished to add a little "spin" to the quilt. You can see a picture at http://www.quiltingboard.com/picture...d-t195191.html
Have fun and keep in stitches! |

I've wanted to make a card trick block for some time, but just haven't gotten to it. Your tut makes it look easy; I really want to give it a turn now! Thanks for the help!
