I bought a couple of the log cabin pin cushin chicks from one of our vendors at our quilt show a couple of years ago and just love them. I've always wanted to find a pattern for them but never have seen one. Thanks for sharing what you have put together, they are really cute.

Love your funky chickens. I had purchased one made from just one piece of fabric and felt and kind of figured out how to make it. However, love your tute and your renditions with scrappy piecing or with selvedge edges.

I just found this today... thank you so much! This is just a wonderful tutorial. I can't wait to get out some of my selveges and make a "funky chicken". I hope my regular old plain chicken pincushion isn't too jealous!
