I logged into chat just now and someone there asked about a bookcase pattern for a quilt. I am sure I have seen one on this forum using selvages in a similar way.

it is funny that this post should be coming up today. I have wondered about using selvedges for quilting but always thought they'd be too heavy. I was wondering if, since you might be fusing the pieces if you could just sew the selvedges directly to the iron-on interfacing. Anyone have any experience with this idea?
