Simple 3 FG French Braid Table Runner
1 Attachment(s)
Someone PM'd me for the tute on the French Braid Table Runner & I had forgotten I had an even simpler one than the one I posted before. This one only requires 3 fat quarters to make. It's in .pdf so anyone can open it.

It is fun to make, if you do machine embroidery the center block looks great with a design in it.

I've gotta do this one in Christmas colors. I'd like to do one for the top of the bar in my kitchen. Think I'll machine embroider the center block with something cute and Christmasy!

Thanks so much for sharing this tutorial. You could make a number of these with different themes such as the four seasons, holidays, flowers, animals, etc.
|

|
Thank you SO very much for the pattern; I've been looking for this one! As Crqltr said above, doing machine embroidery in the center piece allows added creativity and personalization.
|
You're all welcome! I teach this one to beginning quilters at LQS a couple times a month. They have come up with some amazing runners!
