I cut my strips 2 inches wide. You can use whatever size you want, just be consistant.

Pick the two strips you want for the foundation square.

Sew those two strips together

continue adding strips until you get the block the size you want.
[ATTACH=CONFIG]169250[/ATTACH]

Sure does shorten the measuring time it takes to make the log cabin block.
