Thank You for posting how many strips to do for a smaller blanket! I'm a chapter leader for Quilts for Kids, and also being an AccuQuilt retailer, I have a lot of 2 1/2" strips that I really didn't know how to best use. Now I know!!!

I did do this quick jelly roll technique, fun and fast, and my end loop only got tangled up once

That's great! This a perfect quilt for charity and for inexperienced quilters. Good luck and thank you for all the good that you do!

Thank you so much for the help. Will start on it tomorrow night. I hope it is as easy at it sounds. Oralee

GREAT IDEA! I think I will have to try this one.

Tjis is gorgeous, looks a bit like Seminole patterns.

I have no idea what a jelly roll is! Sound like a kit with a bunch of strips? I would like to make a queen size an extra 7 or 8" long - is there a pattern with diagrams or photos written out somewhere?

I would probably prefer to choose my own colours. It would be great in Christmas colours!

Did you sew the top first, then bat and quilt it?

LOVE IT!!! and I just pledged that I'd finish my UFO's and things already on design table before starting anything new!!! :-( :-(
Maybe I can justify it as part of using my stash before buying more fabric...hummm
