I haven't had time to be on this site for a while, and when I came upon this I was totally thrilled. As I have had the progrom E5 for some time, I have not really been comfortable with it, and really didn't know the in's and out's of using it. Hopefully, I can jump in and catch up with the rest of you. Thanks for the info---

Awesome!!!

I, too, have EQ5 and am learning how to use it. Do you know about the book you can buy that is a tutorial? It is called "EQ5 Simplified: An Easy learning Guide by Fran Iverson Gonzalez". It is available at the Electric Quilt Company, but I have also seen it on AMAZON. It is WONDERFUL!!!, easy to follow, step-by-step. I don't know if the EQ6 or EQ7 have similar tutorials, or whether this one will compliment 6 and 7. Does anyone else know?

I know that EQ7 has tutorials right in the program, it just has so much it's overwhelming, which is why I follow Rhonda. She does just enough, but doesn't overwhelm. And I've learned from every post she's done.

I'm glad you like the tutes. I love my EQ programs and I hope you will too. I think it is sooo much fun to play with it and see what you can come up with.

I'll share some of the tips and tricks I use to design. It's so much fun to see what you can make!!

I will post the first class a week from Monday on Nov 8. There will be several classes. Probably 3 or 4 depending on what everyone would like to see and the holidays etc.

I haven't used my EQ5 for far too long and really need a refresher. Do we have to keep up each week or can we do it at our leisure (whatever that is!)?

Rhonda 11-01-2012 03:25 PM

These classes I posted last year. You are more than welcome to download the lessons in PDF form anytime you like.
If you would like some weekly discussion threads for each class for me to moderate I can do that.
The 3rd post above yours you will see the link for all 23 pdf lessons.

Where do I find all of these classes? I have EQ 7 and have not even taken the wrapper off :(

Prism99 04-07-2013 11:01 AM

Thank you so much, Rhonda! I just downloaded all 23 tutorials so I can study them at my (leisurely) pace. I knew I could never keep up with a class, so this is very helpful to me. My EQ7 has been sitting unused for too long.......
