Dedicated to Diannemc. I think I'd love one with cough drops on my desk too!
Awaiting my glue gun... want one?

Start bydrawing a 7"circle on an 8" square

Stitch around the circle and cut fringes in the 4 corners

Put in a circle of batting & then stuff & gather.

Rerycle a jelly jar & fill with candy. Add face features.

Make the floppy hat from a 6" circle, stitching about an inch in, & gather.

Almost finished. Maybe I'll add a ribbon tie and a little flower. Show me how yours turn out!

You can also skip the candy. Use a gatorade bottle or similar. Add some dried beans inside for weight. Cover with your scraps and then add the scarecrow head- a new family heirloom. Add twig arms by cutting an X where the arms should go, insert, & glue. A 6th grade art favorite for years!

Added a little sister. Just turn the head upside down, add a bow, earrings! A 6" circle stitched into a yo yo is the collar. I'm soaking a salsa jar for the body- to fill with candy kisses!
Do you think she needs eyelashes?
