I kind of did something similar, easy to do, but what the heck, still looks good.

Judy, Thanks for all your comments! I do appreciate it. I've just got to finish August's star and the houses.
I drew a paper piece diagram for August and I am anxious to try it as it is the first one I've used for paper piece with my new software.
