Dotty, thanks for the great idea!!!
Gymsuits. my first 6 yrs went to Catholic school, so no gym.
but in 7 &8 we had to wear a one pc. the shorts were gold, and the top was baggy and
gold and white stripes with the school name. like we didn;t know where we were.it had a rounded corner collar too.
in the pool, anything went, and I mean anything! scuba diving and synchronized swimming was the only one they wanted one pc bathing suit for.

Oh Moonwalk, those blue ones bring back many memories, high school, at least everyone looked the same!

Those sound exactly like the one's we wore! Moonwork, that's it, those are the ugly things we wore for 6 years.

Marta, your triangles look lovely! So tidy and just the right contrast. Had a wonderful visit in Barcelona and Malaga in the fall; can't wait to return to see more of the interior of Spain.

working on my triangles today and I feel uneasy, like a lot of you. Have lots of lights, but not so many "medium lights", which doesn't surprise me, I guess, because I like high contrasts in the quilts I make so don't use many mediums. Guess we'll see!! Was able to cut and sew some blue and brown squares for another version. Lots of fun!
Thanks, Judy, for this fun ride. More fun to be sewing than just lurking, as I usually do

Jolo, so sorry to hear about your missing quilts. What a mean thing. Hope you get them back SOON.

Heading to the club car soon for a brandy and gingerale. Mixed nuts, anyone??

those blue horrids were exactly the gym thing we had, too! Not navy but blue. Gads, I hated them. And the baggy legs, too, and I was a skinny 90 lb. weakling and floated in it. They must have been cut straight from the bust down, and then the elastic waist made the legs bloom out.

Oh, my! Those blue ones were like the ones we had too. I'm tall with a long torso, so you can imagine the fun it was - wiggle in and then feel cut into when you bend over.

Wow I'm loving the pretty blocks and triangles I'm seeing. Been working in some other projects so don't have mine done yet.
