    MisDixie,

Are you actually resizing the church block? Or are you adding borders to make it 12 1/2? If resizing, do you draw it on block paper? How would you do that?

If you sew around a paper pieced block a little inside the seam line, it will hold so the block does not pull on the bias when you assemble it to the other blocks.

Oh I love this year's theme! I've never done a block of the month, but after seeing the pictures, I think I might like to try this one. I've not done a lot of paper piecing, but perhaps enough so that I could do it. My concern is getting it to proper size. I measured and my test square was too small. I'm terribly non-techy, but I managed to reset the size for template A. But then templates B and C did not fit it correctly. I think if I can get past this part, I could do it. Thanks for any help. Thanks for offering such a great project!

I wondered about that. thanks for the hint. My blocks with lots of piecing wanted to stretch out when i added other blocks. Still a bit off but next time I will baste first.

Did you change the layout back to portrait for B and C? I believe A was landscape to fit.

    Hope this helps!

I'll try that. I shortened my margins. I was doing it trial and error. Maybe I need to start over trying to print it. Thanks!

    Hope this helps!

Yes, maybe try resetting your printer defaults, hope it works for you. I had to fiddle with it too.
