Honchey, I too appreciate your leadership! Even tho I was the last to join (and very late), I am glad to have been part of this group. I'm grateful for those who persevered to the end so I'd have someone to make blocks with! It will be fun as we get our tops put together and quilted.

I have a few big tops I need to finish for my house. Seems everything I make goes out the door... Just realized the other day that the two beds in guest bedrooms upstairs (the kids' old rooms) do not have quilts! So I set a goal to get two of my big tops done and on those beds.

This is quilting at its best and not mine for sure. But love the details, piecing (English pp) and quilting.

OK, I think NC is getting your rain next week..I just checked out the weather forecast..YUK!!! High humidity, Heat & showers...

My back pain is easing up a bit..I was supposed to work today but the funeral my coworker is attending is on Thursday..It gives me an extra day to work out the kinks in my back..

I'm puttering around trying to figure out what to take to NC..Most of it is still in totes from the previous return trip from NC I need to downsize that to a few simple projects.. What?????

I've been trying to get back to the POP quilt..It's in the newest Fons & porter magazine..I did improvise tho..I used 2.5" pieces to make the 4.5" x 8.5" section of the block...It seems to me that the last row is the hardest to get finished..I'll post my progress later. need to take a photo.. Almost time for dinner.. Tube steak & salad tonite Yay !

Tube steak, huh? LOL darn autocorrect...beautiful day today, but heavy rain in the forecast tonight and tomorrow...should be out mowing lawn or pulling weeds...

DiL brought down 7 or 8 pair of jeans to repair last night. Before I went to bed I cut and pasted patches...yes, pasted...Elmer's came to the rescue as I dribbled a narrow stream around the outer edge of the hole and about 1/4" away from the patch...placed the patch over the hole and ironed it down...sets the glue in place and speeds drying. This morning I sat and got them all done except for a pair for the 6 yo...May put a fun patch on the outside for him.
