Do you reuse your stabilizers by sewing them together? If you do, how many times do you recycle them?

I don't. I save the larger pieces to trace small pattern pieces onto and then cut out.

I have never tried to re-use stabilizer, and can't imagine how it would work. I will be interesed in following this thread.

I meant sew the pieces together into a bigger piece to use.

I don't do enough to have to reuse it. I think it would drive me crazy to piece them together.

I have though used the sticky back stabilizer and "patched" a hole when I did some diaper/burp clothes so I could just keep using the hoop set up I had going.

My very loving hubby thought I need a roll of this and a roll of that so I have more than enough rolls at this point ...and not just of stabilizer either speaking of rolls

I have used the sticky back stabilizer to put medium size pieces together. It works fine. I'm like you I hate to throw away all the edges as some are a good enough size to put 2 together and make it fit in a smaller frame.

I don't sew it, but I do use adhesive spray to patch bigger pieces. Seems like seeing would add bulk behind the design.

I use my scraps for testing out decorative stitches on my new machine with scraps of fabric. I have also used small scraps for monogramming handkerchiefs with my small 2 inch hoop

I re-use mine by just overlapping. I haven't tried to sew them. It works great
