Well here we are, holding the couch down watching the snow blow outside. This is my DD and the Monsters: Grey is Sully, then little black is Boo, and big black (on DD's lap) is Mike.

My daughter goes to college and it is a 60 mile drive each way. Classes were obviously cancelled today. So this morning on facebook she posted how there is no school today and she couldn't wait to go to town (out) tonight. Can we all say DUH? I honestly don't know how her brain works sometimes. LOL

You should be in the room with her. Not that she being a pill, but there is a definite feeling of "omg can't believe i'm stuck at home with *gasp* MOM!"

I told her she could clean her room. LMAO! Yeah, like that'll happen.

Welp... time to get off here for a while and start cutting out my next 2 projects. One will be a new purse pattern and the other a quilt with circles out of my oriental fab rics.

Well..our youngest DD is at college supposedly safe in her sorority house. DD #1 graduated college in Dec and does not start grad school till Aug. She is living here with us until her wedding in June. She had to work today but is home now...and very glad to be home. She is x-stitching and I am sewing.

Well so much for sewing. Our power is out! Called utility company. Hope it comes back on. Gonna get cold. Called neighbors and they have wood heat and a generator might have to fire up Hummer to get there if it doesn't come back on. IF we can get there. We live in the country.
