    Default Children with Special Needs

I donated two cushions in the "Folded Dahlia" for a fundraiser for Children with Special Needs, they had a special raffle and the cushions raised $475.00 so I was well pleased that my efforts were appreciated. Unfortunately I did not take a photograph, the colour theme was sage green and menapausal mauve.

Great turnout for your raffle. I just never heard mauve described a menapausal. Gave me a good chuckle

It's an Aussie saying, most of the ladies that come to the lunches are senior in years so when I make something I try to chose colours that will appeal to us seniors with shall I say excellent taste.

That is so great! I use to teach special needs children from K-12. I had my kids several times in the Special Olympics. They were always so thrilled. We use to have fund raisers in their behalf for many activities. I retired due to health issues in 2010, and I still have two students who call me about once per month just to say hi. Those were special days.
