    City pools are now closed to the public for the year. On 9-5-11 this park is open to dogs only. Our first time here we could not find a place to park . Must have been 300+ dogs.The water was like bath water. There will be alot of dogs sleeping it off today.

    I've heard of doggie parks but never doggie pools. What a great idea and the dogs must love it. My son's golden retreaver looked awfully hot this summer but he couldn't go into their pool as it has a vinyl liners.

    That's neat. They did that at one of our community pools this year, too. I didn't go as my dog isn't overly fond of swimming. :)

    At our communuty pool, the last afternoon the pool is open is a dog swim. It's so funny watching the water loving dogs play. The poor dogs that don't like water stand in the baby pool looking all scared.
