do you feel women should cut their hair
#163
Hair experts will tell you that shorter hair makes you look younger and is more flattering to an older face. As I age (47,) I have definitely found that to be true. I have had long hair most of my life, but the shorter do is much more flattering! Go for an actual styled cut, not just short hair. I find I even feel a little more flirty and sexy!
Color is another issue as you age. Hanging on to bleach blond, fire red and black make you look older because they enhance the yellow tones in your skin. Unless natural gray, older women should stay with a medium tone that is closest to their real hair color.

No. When I was growing up I was not allowed to have long hair. When I went to work in the corporate world I wanted to let it grow but just couldn't get past thatreally shaggy look you get while it getting from long to short. When I retired I said it's time. My hair is now down 6-7 inches below my sholders and I love being able to brush, put it in a bun and go!

I am nearing 50 and love my long hair which is now almost
butt length. The very beginnings of gray are starting to appear
and I intend to wear them like badges of honor. Nope, I will
Not be cutting or coloring my hair anytime soon. Don't care
who does or doesn't like the way it looks. It suits ME just
fine. :-)

P.S. Dear hubby wears his hair in a braid half way
down his back...birds of a feather I guess.lol

I had very long hair when I was in my 20's,DH doesn't like long hair so gradually got it cut-grew it back-cut it-you get the picture. I am now trying to grow it one length and that is where it will stay. I agree that you should wear your hair any length that you want.

Iv'e always worn my hair short. It has natural curl and does better. It is really your own business how to wear your hair, but take a look at yourself once in a while to see if you could use a style or color. It might make you feel better all over.
