If you are brave enough to chase a hawk, you MAY be a savage one. I'd never try it. I've felt their talons.

How funny! I often wonder how I get on some of these email lists. I understand the quilt related ones that seem to be multiplying but I have not idea how I got on the one for the farm supply. I haven't even bought seed or plants online in years much less a tractor.

I understand why I get most of the personalized ads on the computer. But sometimes I wonder...

Several years ago I was in the market for a new coffeemaker. I wandered over to that section in Walmart and looked at several different ones. Later that afternoon, ads for coffeemakers started appearing on my computer. I had not searched for a coffeemaker online. Just a scary coincidence? (Insert Twilight Zone music here.)

I used to work in the library in a small US base in the UK. Let's say its name was "Johnson Lake." We used to get PCH sweepstakes entries addressed to "Mr. Johnson Lake Library." Things like "Won't your neighbors in APO New York be excited when YOU, Mr. Library, roll up in your new Cadillac!" (Shouting theirs, not mine!)

And then there are the notices in the newspaper of unclaimed property, complete with name and address. If they have the addresses, why don't they send a letter directly to the person??

I now go get my mail and stop at my trash can before I come back inside. Amazing how much trash we get in the mail not to mention all the poor trees they destroyed!
