Jim's Gem

Isaac was born on Sunday the 15th at 1:43 am. I was able to be there in the deliver room and help my daughter and watch him be born. It was so special!!!!!
He weighed 8 lbs 7 oz and 20.5 inches long
I think he is the most beautiful baby around!!!
I am a Grandma now!!!!
I got to spend all day today holding him while his mom and dad took a nap and got some things done. It was wonderful!!!!!

When my granddaughter was first placed in my arms, all I felt was a huge sense of completeness. I thought that if my life were to end at that moment it would be okay, because there could be nothing better that could happen ever, ever again.

Your grandson is absolutely adorable. Enjoy those wonderful feelings that only grandmothers are privvy to.
(give him an extra cuddle and take a sniff for me.....I miss those baby things)
