Have fun sewing and doing all the other things you'll be doing. I took my sewing machine to NY when I went to take care of my Dad. It was a good idea and I sewed every night for a few hours.. Grace from N.C,

oh yeah... I know exactly what you mean. I took my lil 'ole machine with me on our last vacation to the mountains. It was lovely!!! My husband fished... and I started a new quilt. Thinkin' it's time for another one. ;-)

I usually feel like that too but once I have a few days away I always think, "so this is what people do when they don't sew.". It's a happy realization that the world is big and wonderful! Of course, I get right back to it when I get home!
