    At this stage of life, I am a plump prune! Still sweet though a bit wrinkled in spots. :-)

    curly endive = chicory = chicory endive Notes: You can use this crisp, bitter green in salads or cook it as a side dish. The outer leaves are green and somewhat bitter; the pale inner leaves are more tender and mild.

    I would be a cranberry. Mostly eaten dried and wrinkled, or mashed up next to a turkey. Lives in the cool north. but out in the sun so it is red. It can be sweet or sour depending on how you care for it.

    I would be a strawberry. I have freckles, and round puffy cheeks that spend a lot of time bright red from all the mistakes I make. :lol:
