I have had the darndest (i know not a real word but is in my world) time finding a border for my avatar it needs one really it does. I just cannot get it right I have purchased 8 different fabrics because I thought they were the "one" but only to see NOPE. I found a perfect one but not enought since the fabric is directional. I have 2 last choices coming from another company I love the roses but not enough of that material bummer. I am also thinking it needs a 2" chocolate brown border then the other border it just does not feel done yet. Have I mentioned I even know how I want to quilt it. So it is almost ready!!! Any and all input is welcomed :)

other option-- I like this one with the stripes has all of the colors. I would make it go horizontal to the quilt.

I think I like number 2 best. You have to post when you get done.

I love your quilt. I like the idea of the chocolate brown border. That would really look good, and I like both of your last option. Marilyn

Personally, I'd use a solid border, or a batik with no distinct pattern to it. the quilt itself is busy and should be the star, I wouldn't want to detract from it in any way.

I vote for the brown and pink floral after a solid brown border. I like the pink to come out into the last border.

I vote for solid brown border, then pink tonal border. The center needs to shine  Very pretty and I love the layout. :D

Looks like you have some dark purple in the quilt, make that your border. I agree with having a solid border, at least a small one, then you can add a pattern if you feel it needs it.

I would use a dark stopper, but only an inch wide, then the soft tan paisley. Binding could be more paisley or the brown again. I love the pink in the quilt, but don't think it has to be repeated in the border.
