Up North

People from the southern part of Michigan are always going "Up North" and my Grand kids in Ohio come "Up North" to visit. So it just seemed appropriate.

When my son was little, he use to love the movie "MY Girl". He would cry everytime he watched it, and at the end of it, he would tell me " Momma, you will always be MyGirl". He is going to be 20 on his birthday, and still tells me that. And 66 is the year I was born. :D

Mine is the name of my beloved little dog. hazeljane was the first of my very expensive "free" rescue dogs. And the dog of my heart. She has been gone for nearly four years. My Italian Greyhound Rescue is named for her: Hazeljane's Blessings. She was such a blessing in some of the most difficult times of my life. My friends know me as Maggie or Mags. My parents still occasionally call me Peggy, though no one else does.
