Default kids say the bestest things

Yesterday my 5 year old granddaughter and I went out to return some clothing items I had bought for my mother, her great grandma. here is our conversation

DGD: why are we taking grandmas clothes back to the store?
me: because they don't fit well
DGD: well, if you want to get her something way more specialer (yep that's her words) you need to make her a quilt.

Someone has been teaching her real well!

We'll then I just turned around and snapped this with my phone, just because it was a specialer moment!

She is precious. Future quilter there. No time like the present to start teaching! Your time together would be "specialer".

She is so cute, and she has that look that shows she's wise beyond her years.
