Default Lookin good for older apron pattern...

The smock type apron that either buttoned, zipped or snapped up the front. Might have been slightly gathered into the yokes. I've been searching for one but can't seem to come up with anything.
Happy and Healthy New Year to you all!!!!

    Default Found one

Indigo Junction has one called Mock Smock that I like but pattern doesn't seem to be available. Have you made it?...would you want to sell the pattern?

Is this the one you were looking at?
    https://www.amazon.ca/Indygo-Junctio.../dp/B0027605S2

I found it listed here, but I would call the company first to make sure they have it in stock as everyone else shows it sold out. They may have simply failed to update their website inventory:
    http://www.ilovesewingshop.com/shop/...sku-104884.htm

What I would probably do is set down with pattern books at JoAnn's and look for a front-closure smock to modify into an apron.

Edit: It may be that what you are looking for is a cobbler apron. Here is one for sale:

And here is a Google search on cobbler aprons:
    https://www.google.com/search?q=cobb...w=1920&bih=974

If you find an actual apron that you like, you could create your own pattern from it.

    Amazon has some also: https://www.amazon.com/AmeriMark-Wom...dp/B01GS3S9D2/

I made simple aprons for four of my GGKs as part of their Christmas gifts owing to the interest in cooking and making cookies at Nana's. One of the fabrics chosen has comical heads of dogs, some wearing glasses. I chose this fabric for the back of a GGS's quilt and used leftovers for his quilt. When he got his apron, he said, "look some of the dogs are wearing bi-focals". Yes, he is three and wears bi-focals. Loved the apron and pockets.

Thanks Prism9...Yes the IJ819 is what I was looking for but wasn't sure how the contrast trim was put on...any ideas? I will check with the store that has it online. I liked the other styles too and what I was actually looking for. I had thought about finding an old one to take apart and use as a pattern. Thanks for all your help...off to Joanns today!

This may be a little off, but my friend made a couple of cobbler's aprons with a large man's shirt. She cut off the sleeves at the top and then trimmed the sleeve holes with a contrasting fabric. She then took the sleeve material and trimmed that and put them on the front of the shirt as pockets. She cut off the collar, plus a little more to make a bigger hole and then trimmed the top of the shirt with the same contrasting material as the pockets. She basically turned a man's shirt into a very nice feminine cobbler's apron. If I remember right, the first shirt was a Hawaiian shirt and then she used a black shirt and trimmed it with a black and white striped material. They were both adorable.

This is just a thought, if you wanted a faster, easier way to make a cobbler's apron.
