In SoCal we all heard Go See Cal, Go See Cal, Go See Cal - Cal Worthington, a car dealer, and his dog Spot which was a tiger. I think he had other animals there too. His grandson does the commercials now but he isn't as charming as Cal was.

And my favorite commercial "bet you can't eat just one". I think that was Lays Potato Chips. I can't eat just one.

How about "See the USA in your Chevrolet"?

Maxwell House Coffee-Good to the Last Drop
You can always tell a Halo Girl by the wonderful shine of her hair (shampoo ad)

Jimmy Nelson was the voice and puppeteer for Farfel. He retired to Ft Myers/Cape Coral area of Fl and they would appear every so often in a commercial for a savings and loan bank there

Funny! I grew up in Vancouver, and also remember "Beep! Beep! Jarvis Jeep!
I also remember that obnoxious late night commercial Tom Peterson had for his furnature store, "Wake up! Wake up!" Where he is pretending to knock on your TV screen.
