We decided to take our son to see hop today. Pretty dang cute! Anyways we went to our local theater. Apparently we hadn't been there in awhile. When we walked in we were shocked to see that there wasn't the regular movie seats but recliners. Fully powered, leather recliners. You could prop your legs up and everything. Oh my. It was so comfy! They were big and spacious. And an arm rest on each side for you!
I had never seen or even heard of this before! Anyone else have a luxury movie theater now?
Sorry the pic isnt that great. From my phone. Just before they turned the lights off.

My little guy. For the first 10 minutes or so of the previews he keep pushing the buttons making his seat go up and down. Up and down. Very entertaining LOL

That is the part I miss about the theater in Germany, not only do they have reclining seats ..... but you can eat a hamburger, fries and even drink a beer while watching the movie. :D

There is a theater in Northern KY that has a wait staff. You can order food and they bring it to where you are seated.

sorry, sounds like a GERM trap...who cleans those things after the beer, burger, fries, etc....ICk...I know what can hide in the folds of a recline...give a theater seat that lets the ICK fall to the floor when the seat goes up...

Our theater has a couple of rows of those in the back. The rest are regular seats. Admission is $6 and includes popcorn and a small soda. After the movie, the owner stands outside and hands out mints and waits to see that all the kids who came without parents get picked up.

I fall asleep at the theater. Every time. Never even get to the start of the movie, always fall asleep during previews. Except for the Twilight Series, I do stay awake for those. But If I am not interested in a movie....Im snoring away before it even starts. Luckily we only pay $2.50 cents for each of us to go and see a movie. The reason it is so cheap is because we wait until the movie comes out of the theaters and then it goes to something like a "second hand" theater. Usually we just have to wait an extra week to see the movies. And if its an animated movie......I'm sleeping before I even walk in the theater lol.
