I have a wooden sign that says "if you want the best seat in the house you have to move the cat". In your case you have to move the dogs.

I have a friend spending the night and she insists on sleeping on my sofa (AKA my dog's bed). Forthe first time ever, my dog is fussing at my friend to get out of "her" bed.

They look pretty comfortable and they could be running around following you. My Maggie (beagle) follows me from place to place and drives me crazy until I move one of her 3 beds to where I am. She wore out the sofa and we had to get a new one recently and she is not allowed on it yet...only a matter of time.

My little guy weighs in at about 5 1/2 lbs. When we first got him, I could wear this red robe...a size 4X. I would sit in the morning, and he would cuddle on my lap, sucking on the sleeve. (He was weaned from his mama at 9 weeks...she wouldn't have anything more to do with the pups)

Anyway...when I "undergrew" the robe, he got it...he has to have it in the living room during the day and at night he drags it to the foot of the bed and barks until one of us puts it on the bed for him. He loves his "blankie robe"!!

He's a year old...still sucks on his "blankie"

He piles it up and then straddles it.

I have 2 little yorkies like that so they don't take up that much room. Most of the time they are on my lap and I can't move. LOL That is a cute picture though. I love to see animals so comfortable like that. They should be loved like that.
