Do you know that you CAN HAVE a dog or cat. The Americans with Disabilities Act allows that. You need to get a prescription from your doctor saying that he/she feels it would be a good thing and then you go to your landlord and get a paper that is called "Reasonable Accomodation Request". But you still have to clean up after them and pay for any damage that they may do. My husband is a disabled Vet and we were able to have our 2 little dogs because of this. But I think I would stick with the bird..I mean how much damage can a bird do.....and all you have to do is toss a blanket over their cage and they will go to sleep. LOL. Pretty bird you have David.

I did not know that! But thank you soooo much for telling me this. It will come in handy in the future, but as you said right now I am very happy. Thanks again!

Budgies are fun pets and can have a lot of personality. We had one that learned a few phrases. Not that we tried to teach him, he just picked them up. You'll enjoy little poopy.

You can have one Service Dog or Emotional Support Dog per person. I have a script in the drawer for one. I don't know which dog I'd choose if it came to that, but in my area, two are allowed, so I don't need the paperwork for either of my furgirls.

Birds can be such good company and they don't need to be walked!
