Thought I would share pictures as the snow progresses here - It is 9:30 when these were taken - Mind you It wasnt to start until 10 or eleven lol We are expecting blizzard conditions with drifting - will try to post more later today to show progress

Wish you were here and I was where it was warm and sunny lol This is for those who have always wanted snow...I have plenty to go around~be more than happy to share!!

9:30 Snow plow attempting to make a difference God Bless their efforts

9:30 Yes that is my car parked in yard!! No I am not a redneck ( well maybe a little lol) I park my car in yard for easy access for me since I dont get around too well - we use neighbors driveway to pull up - in our defense trash dumpsters ususally in back but we wanted acess to them lol Driveway to the left - cant you see it? It was actually clear before snow - DH had cleared it and used de-ice because of ice and sleet we had lol

You poor thing! Wishing you sunny days and a quick thaw.

We're just south/east of the "ice" line and getting rain. Expecting winds up to 30/40 mph gusts all this afternoon. I'll take that over snow.

    Sorry for you!

And we are battening down the hatches waiting for it to arrive here. Today is the so called "appetizer" event where 4 to 8" is predicted to fall today. Right now it looks like emsgranny's pics outside. Tomorrow they are saying 12 to 18" on top of the 4-8 that is going to fall today! My normal morning commute in heavy traffic is 40 to 45 minutes. This morning it took me 1 hour 50 minutes. I have already told my boss I am taking a vacation day tomorrow. I am so blessed I have that luxury.

Could have been worse!! We had ice yesterday but didnt get as much as they had predicted - snow alot easier than ice.

60 miles northeast of St. Louis at 10:00 a.m. we have about 1/4 inch of ice on everything and sleet still coming. No snow as of now.

WOOOW! I'll take the snow! I'm use to it and really miss it here in TN. Raised it the stuff and winter just isn't winter unless you shovel the stuff a time or two, make a couple of snowmen, warn the kids of snow forts and have snow cream! We're in for nothing but rain and high winds, i'll trade any time!

It has snowed all night here and there is more coming today and tomorrow. DGD has a snow day so we are home together. I won't get in any snowing, just having fun with her.
