Here are some recent photos of one of the young livestock guardian dogs(Mia) with the mouse patrol and pups.
The other picture is Mia's brother in "his" nap chair.
Mia and Hadji are going to their new homes next week.....

Mia and Hadji are Maremma and Anatolian Shepherd Dog. the pups are pure Anatolian, or a cross. We raise them to protect livestock, farms or families.

Awwwe, My mom had a dog that had pups, the cat nursed with the pups and con't to nurse for several years, the dog got hit by a car and became blind, the dog would smell and follw the cat everywhere. That was the biggest cat lol, the two of them were insepreble.

cute cute cute pictures. a cousin and her husband used to raise goats and they also raised anatolian dogs. they would summer the goats in the moon mountains and used the dogs to guard them. besides coyotes they had a couple run in with mountain lions and bears after the goats. Very brave and loyal dogs.
