Default Quilters seem to be obsessed. Are you?

Yesterday on our trip to Toledo I was telling my husband (for the millionth time) what quilting does for me. It's so creative, relaxing to the max, and suddenly I realized that every quilter I know is obsessed with it. I don't know anyone who says " Oh yeah, I like to quilt every now and then". It seems that we are an "obsessed" bunch When I told him that he chuckled and said " I noticed" haha!
My life is full but in all honestly quilting is what I think about more than anything else! (except for my family of course!) If I had as many finished quilts as dominating my thoughts I would have thousands.
    What about you?

Yes. I love to quilt. Wish I had nothing else to do. I make hundreds in my mind. When working on one quilt, always planning another.

That's my house! Well, I try to wash at least one load of dishes a day, make the beds and cook a meal before I quilt!

It's pretty obvious that I'm obsessed with quilting the instant you walk into my home - living room is my (very full, very active) quilting room! I even posted a small orange diamond-shaped road hazard sign near the front door that says, "CAUTION: entering quilting zone. Highly contagious."

I'm obsessed with quilting and also with vintage sewing machines. Whenever I go on vacation I buy fabric as souvenirs, and comb thrift shops everywhere I go looking for cool old machines. I take a solo vacation every year that I look forward to all year long - I go to the Pacific International Quilt Festival in Santa Clara in October; I put myself up in a hotel for a couple nights and have a wonderful time! DH came with me once and was bored out of his mind so it's my own little vacation now. I miss DH in the evenings but it's really wonderful for me to be able to just stare at quilts all day long without feeling like someone is waiting for me to hurry up.

My quilting has taken over pretty much every room in the house (except the bathrooms) so I guess you could say I'm obsessed. A studio in our unfinished basement has been discussed but probably won't happen due to hubster's back problems.

I love quilting. I think about it many times a day. I also love Jet Skiing. I don't have that much time weather wise to do that, so I tell everyone summer is for jet skiing and winter is for sewing/quilting.

I've been obsessed since the early 70's. did some quilting before that, but wasn't obsessed. It's fun and keeps me home at night.
