Default R/W/B Wreath I just finished

Good morning! My oldest son recently posted a picture of a R/W/B wreath on Facebook and tagged me asking me to make it for him. Well, I went to Dollar Tree and found wire wreath forms for $1.00 so I bought 2. I went online and found other wreaths I liked and tweaked the patterns and came up with this:

It's bigger than it looks in the picture. The perfect size for a door I think!

bet you could do that for other holidays too. it would be cute for Halloween with a scarecrow in it and ghosts too. the list is endless now that you know how to do it. how did you do it? is it just cut strips tied on?
I cut strips 2" x 8", folded them in half lengthwise and tied them on (not knotted). It takes about as long to cut as to tie!

    Great idea for other holidays!!!

Oh Jingle...you have no idea! The cabinet behind the wreath holds FQ's, I have 2 of the cabinets full and enough to fill at least 1-2 more! I have 3 large cabinets filled with quilting cotton and a cabinet full of flannel. My husband just worked out a deal with a guy that will get me 42tubs of fabric & "stuff" (the guys words not mine) left when his mother passed away...I have no idea what to expect in the tubs but will get a sample tonight when the 1st load is delivered..
