Fellow quilter, wordspainter, makes topsy turvy dolls for very ill children. I think her count is up to 161. Blessing abound whether recipient is a little child or a big child. God bless!

Hi Butterfli 19 - Sounds like a wonderful idea! The pattern that I use for dolls (I think they're 19") is the Mommy Make Me pattern from Fairfield - the people who make the poli-fill stuffing. Please go to their website - you'll find some wonderful ideas. including (I think) the little doll that you want to make.

    http://www.fairfieldworld.com/product/16
then click: patterns, crafts - scroll down - Mommy Make Me Doll

For my first doll I've decided to go with "Addison" @ http://www.dinkybaby.com/toddler-patterns.htm
If you click on the pic you'll see what a cutie she is! I already have the pattern and sculpture fabric and she's 18", so the AG patterns will fit her as well. Luckily I have some of those by McCalls. I'll make one with a little quilt and post her, but give me a few weeks.
Looks like a great choice - very happy, light hearted expression - sounds great to me. :-) I have been making softies and started cloth dolls but haven't found a place for them yet - need to get out there.! Good luck and I am sure you will enjoy this project.

Oh I hope you do it. God is tugging at your heart. I will send you fabric I have more than enough. Just PM me your address. When Angels are whispering you need to listen.
