All day long the cat is sleeping or outside. I had chores to do such as wash dishes. The minute I set down to sew, I get a tingle up my spine and am pounced on by surprise by "you know who". I honestly tried to make her go away. I only have 5 buttons to sew on this quilt before it is finished. I gently swatted her rear end, and she clawed my arm. I tried to move her off the table and she turned into a fierce lion and drew blood on my hand. I told her to go play in the freeway. To top it all off, she game me the Raspberry!
What, she doesn't like the quilt?

What a little mean one! Have you noticed how they can ignore you all day, yet when you get serious about doing something, that's when it is when they need you the most?

Sounds like you need to get your water misting sprayer from the ironing board. I used to have a cat that liked to grab my ankles (with claws) as I walked by the couch. Sure cured that habit.

Typical. What you say (blah blah blah) and what they hear (.........................).

As soon as I got up to download pictures she went outside. All 168 buttons sewed on by machine. Now another two hours clipping threads between them and tying to the backside. That is another day though. I think I'm going to quit while I'm ahead and go read. (She likes to help me read too) You would think she is being ignored, but she really isn't. She spends many hours sitting on my lap while I'm on the computer. She tries to type for me. Little stinker!

I have one, but all of the ironing gear was put away since I wasn't piecing. I think I'll go get a small one for the sewing machine and keep it loaded. ;-)
